Georgia Certificate of Merit Scholars

Each year the University of Georgia, in conjunction with the State Department of Education, recognize Georgia Certificate of Merit Scholars across the state of Georgia in recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement throughout the first three years of high school. To qualify for this prestigious award, students must rank in the top five percent of their junior class and be enrolled in college preparatory curriculum.  This year, we are proud to announce the following recipients of this honor at our school:  Ashton Allen, Noah Boerner, Mia Cox, and Rosie Sycks.  Congratulations!

Knights Sweep GICAA Div II-AA Spring 2016 Championships

The King's Academy experienced an unusually blessed spring with the Georgia Independent Christian Athletics Association! Our Girls Tennis, Boys Tennis, Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, Golf, Softball and Baseball high school teams each won their State Championship in Division II-AA. We are thankful for our hardworking athletes and coaches, as well as our partnership with a Christ-honoring organization like the GICAA.  For information about our fall sports programs, please visit www.tkaknights.org.

Student Spotlight

We are pleased to announce that one of our alumni from the Class of 2015, Allie Ibarra, was recently selected as a member of the Dean William Tate Honor Society at the University of Georgia.  This recognition is stated to be the most prestigious honor a freshman may receive at UGA. The Tate Society annually recognizes only twelve men and twelve women of the first year class. Selection is based upon academic achievement and extracurricular involvement (scholarship, leadership, and service). We are proud that one of our own was selected for this honor!

Did You Know?

Almost 10% of The King's Academy Class of 2016 was accepted into early decision at the University of Georgia.  This represents a high-achieving group of seniors as noted in a recent Atlanta Journal Constitution article (read here) which stated that this year's pool of Early Action applicants had an average GPA of 4.11, average SAT combined score of 1395, and average ACT of 31. We are proud of our hardworking students!
